Our house of sophistication wouldn’t be complete without a gadget we stumbled upon on our travels around the Connected home exhibition this week.

In fact if we are honest this is what made the whole thing worthwhile.

No don’t get too excited David Hasslehoff didn’t ask for the keys –Pipex wasn’t there.

We are talking about the Vexo remote control.

Alright just listen before you all start groaning because this remote is the most beautiful remote we have ever seen. In fact it is so nice that if it was a girl, we would be keeping it well away from our partners.

The Vexo is the Tyra Banks of the gadget girl world – it’s sleek, skinny and sophisticated. Like all pretty girls it also has everything round its little finger, or in this case round its scrolling wheel. It uses one button to control any gadgets that require remote controls. If this wasn't enough gadget Tyra also has a nice big screen that tells people exactly whats going on.

Hmm now we know about guys and remote controls but we think this is one we will be keeping firmly close to us, well the saying keep your friends close but enemies closer was created for a reason wasn’t it.
